I just watched Lady in a Jam (1942). So silly!

Irene Dunne and Patric Knowles

It was produced and directed by Gregory La Cava. It stars the always delightful Irene Dunne. Indeed, it seems to have been written for her. It's long on her charms and short on plot. But if you don't take it seriously, it's enjoyable enough.

I guess it was a sort of follow-up to Unfinished Business (1941), which was also produced and directed by La Cava and starred Dunne.
