Good Girl

I just finished Good Girl (2025), by Aria Aber. Fascinating!

I listened to the audiobook read by Mozhan Navabi.

The protagonist is the 19-year-old daughter of Afghan refugees growing up in Berlin. Aber also grew up in Germany, the daughter of Afghan refugees. We learn a lot about the darker side of Berlin.

This is Aber's debut novel. She published a book of poetry in 2019.
