Storm in a Teacup

I just watched Storm in a Teacup (1937), starring Vivien Leigh and Rex Harrison. Terrific!

It was directed by Ian Dalrymple and Victor Saville. The screenplay is by Donald Bull and Ian Dalrymple, based on the play Sturm im Wasserglas by Bruno Frank.

This was Rex Harrison's first starring role in movie.

Who knew Vivien Leigh had such great comedic timing? I think the only thing I know her from is Gone with the Wind, which I thought was terrible (even though she won an award for it). She is very funny in this.

"Father wants to be Prime Minister of the first Scotch Parliament!"

"Scottish, Vicky, Scottish."

"Help yourself to a Scottish and soda."
