I just watched Back Street (1932), directed by John M. Stahl. It is based on the 1931 novel of the same name by Fannie Hurst. It stars Irene Dunne and John Boles.

There are some nice train and train station scenes, as well as trolleys and cabs.

It was a surprisingly touching movie.
