Notorious

I just watched Notorious (1946), directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Amazing!

I'm not sure I'd even heard of this before, but it's incredible. Alfred Hitchcock, Cary Grant, Ingrid Bergman, and Claude Rains are all famous— with good reason— but why isn't this talked about more? Maybe it is and I'm just not paying attention.

It was written by Ben Hecht, who wrote a bunch of stuff. I'll have to watch out for more of it. It was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
