I just watched her (2013), written, directed, and co-produced by Spike Jonze. Wonderful!

This features the voice of Scarlett Johansson, which has been in the news a lot lately. One of the billionaire man-babies who desperately wants us to believe he's nearly invented artificial intelligence is trying to rip off Johansson and she's not having it. As it's largely because of this movie that they want her voice, I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I missed it back when it first came out.

The latest tech hype cycle is responsible for so much garbage in the world today, it's nice to see something good come from it— I saw a really good movie that I might have otherwise missed! Yeah, that's not much, given all of the water and electricity they've used, but at least it's something.
