The Turn of the Screw

I just finished The Turn of the Screw (1898) by Henry James. Classic!

I listened to the audiobook read by Simon Vance and Vanessa Benjamin in 2008. Most of the book is in first person from the perspective of the governess and is read by Benjamin. Vance reads the opening, which describes the situation with the governess's letter.

John Mullan uses it as an example in this talk on gothic novels. I think that's when I added it to my TBR.
