A Head Full of Ghosts

I just finished A Head Full of Ghosts (2015) by Paul Tremblay. Wonderful!

This got on my reading list when Sadie Hartmann talked about it back in the birb site days. I don't use Instagram and she doesn't use any of the sites I use, so I guess I'm going to miss out on some great horror.

I particularly liked The Last Final Girl saying that The Exorcist doesn't scare kids anymore. I remember not only not being scared by it, but thinking it was hilarious. Just laughably silly. I was too young to see it when it came out, but not too young to sit through a church sermon about it. Yes, the pastor of our church dedicated a whole sermon to that movie. It wasn't even a Catholic church! Anyway, when I finally saw the movie, I was shocked to see how goofy it was, given that it had scared all those adults.
